Distance Measuring Devices:
A player may use any allowable device to obtain distance (only) information, including cell phones, smartphones, etc. If the device has the capability of accessing unauthorized information such as elevation changes, wind speed, wind direction, etc. and the player uses the device to access this information, the penalty is as follows:
Stroke play – Two strokes.
For subsequent offense – Disqualification.
In the event of a breach between the play of two holes, the penalty applies to the next hole.
